Leading for Impact
Congratulations to our division managers for completing the CHS Leading for Impact program. In two half-day leadership development sessions, Bertie Hugo, Jennifer Reinhardt, Scott White, and Josh Starr honed their management skills to help them build better teams to service customers’ needs. The training focused on consistently living four essential leadership roles:
- Inspire Trust by being models of character and competence.
- Create Vision by rallying their teams around an important purpose.
- Execute Strategy through consistent, focused discipline and alignment.
- Coach Potential by unleashing the untapped talent and potential of their team.
“I was proud to hear the final presentations that the attendees gave that showed what they individually got out of the training and how they were putting it to work in their various divisions,” said Wes Burley, the general manager. “I believe this will impact our managers, staff, and patrons in a very positive manner as we continue to compete in these very competitive markets.”
The training has allowed them to begin their learning journeys with the mindsets and behaviors needed to achieve results with and through others.
